I haven't posted pictures. I've been making ice cream. I've gone a little ice cream crazy. I've tried two varieties of vanilla ice cream this week and am planning a third. I've been researching and reading and reading and reading about ice cream. I think, if I had to pick a side in the great debate of 'frozen custard' vs. 'philadelphia style' - I think I'm on the side of no eggs. But damn, that French Vanilla custard based concoction I whipped up with the Professional Chef recipe was tasty (rich and creamy and sweet and rich).
Of course, Alton Brown has a lot to say on the subject and I always find him helpful and informative.
