10 months young

Recent Clare milestones and benchmarks:
  • crawling around like a pro
  • can walk while holding only one adult hand (but definitely prefers holding two)
  • can drink from her water bottle with the one-way valve in place (we used to have to take it out for her to get any water)
  • tempting fate by saying this, but... in the last week, has started to sleep through the night without waking up for milk
  • occasionally will wave back when you wave to her
  • knows how to stick out her tongue when you ask her to (not sure why we taught her this one)
  • can climb up stairs with almost no help (yes, we have baby gates installed)
  • no words other than "hi"/"cat"
  • favourite foods: broccoli, carrots, cheerios (unlike a lot of other kids we know, she's cooled a bit on most other carbs like bread)
  • favourite toys: anything Mum or Dad are playing with (she does still love her Mr. Bun though) -- we bought her some simple rubber blocks that fit together like lego, but she's only really capable of breaking apart whatever Dad builds (and chewing on the blocks)
That's all for now. See you next month!

She doesn't need to say Mumma yet, since Mumma comes to her whenever she says anything at all..
