Cake Statistics



These are the cakes I made for the wedding of Kevin to Susanna. They're on their honeymoon right now and I hope that they're having a brilliant time. Oh, and by the way, the photo was taken by Karen. I'll try to get a close-up shot from her in the next couple of days. So, to make these cakes (enough to feed about 160 people) for their reception of about 80, I used:
- 9 kgs (19 lbs.) of butter
- 5 kgs (10 lbs). of flour
- 3.5 kgs (7 lbs). of sugar
- 1L (1 quart) of egg whites
- 2.5 doz whole eggs
- 3 L of milk
- 3 kgs. (6 lbs.) of chocolate
