Overheard

Clare received a postcard in the mail yesterday from some of her (our) friends who had been visiting Asia. The postcard was a shot of Bangkok and the note on the back gave a nice account of their trip and also said that it was very very hot in Thailand - that they'd visited some temples etc.. to escape the heat. In response to the card:

Clare: I don't want to go there for lots and lots. It's very hot there and it could burn my fingers!
