Money, money, money

I thought that you'd all be happy to know that I am working on getting a camera so that I can post some pictures on my blog. I know, I know .. the question of why I don't yet have pretty pictures to show you on my blog has been burning a whole in your brains for days. So here's what I'm doing: I currently have $266.03 in my "mp3 player fund" that I'm going to transfer to my "digital camera fund". The camera I want costs $369.00 plus tax. Which I think means that after tax and a bigger memory card, I need to raise about another $200.00. I'm more than half way! Woo hoo! At a rate of savings of $50 per two weeks it'll only take another 2 months. And Rob said that he might even be able to contribute to the fund. So hold your horses, I'm almost there! And in the mean time, I'll keep publishing shots from guest photographers. In fact, here are some more from Karen

In other news, I was walking around the 2nd floor of Sandford Fleming today. I realized that I haven't been there since Rob left. I was reminiscing about all the fun SF2206 moments when we were all young and foolish and Rob and I weren't even dating yet. And I reminisced about the happy days when Rob and I were first dating. Remember those days? It feels like such a long time ago. I think it was really only 3 years ago. Crazy!

A little schmultzy today!

RE: starting dating. Gina and I were talking about our getting older the other day and I pointed out that Dion and I were 21 and 22 when we started dating, just over NINE years ago. Did we know how young we were? I think not.

RE camera: I am still kicking myself that I didn't think of a digital camera when I was trying to organise a group wedding present. The idea came to me a few weeks too late.

Re camera: Don't kick yourself Karen! It's my own damn fault for losing it in the first place. And this way I'll appreciate it more because I _earned_ it.
