So, while it feels like it's been forever for us, it's really just been a few short months that we've been keeping our little secret. On Friday, we had our 12 week ultrasound and got to see with our own eyes that we have a little brother or sister for Clare on the way. We told Clare Friday night and as you can see by the first photo, it maybe took a minute to sink in. She seems pretty happy about it now - asking me daily if she can see the baby, if the baby is sleeping, and if when the baby comes it's her baby AND Daddy's baby AND Mummy's baby. She also says "Hi" to my stomach, listens to my stomach with her toy stethoscope, and asks if she can have a baby in her belly (we told her, not until you're a grown-up and you're married).
