Newspaper

On the way to daycare this morning, Clare selected a newspaper to read from the array of boxes at our streetcar stop. She chose the orange one. She carried it with her onto the streetcar, found her seat and then opened the paper. She then proceeded to point to any large print letters and/or numbers that she recognized. She prefers numbers though. Her favorite number is 5. So, there was quite a bit of turning the pages to look for more numbers. She has such an affiliation for the number 5 that she was grouchy about the fact we don't take the 505 streetcar.
