Good News and Bad News

The Good News - today my favorite inventor is Russel James Slayter. He invented insulation. Since our contractor put the insulation back in the ceiling of our bathroom, effectively closing the hole to the roof on the third floor, the house has warmed up another few degrees! Also, in case I didn't mention it before, the shower has been function since last Wednesday! It's still exciting.

The Bad News - Rob and I got the flu today. We both had to come home early from work. I'm not sure who we caught it from. The prominent symptoms seem to be extreme GI distress (both upper and lower), fever, and aches. I'm not sure what the incubation period is on this one, but if I saw you on the weekend - LOOKOUT!

The Other News - EQ3 called to tell us that our couch will be delivered on Saturday. As predicted, it will arrive the day after Cynthia's last night here. That's ok, I suppose, since we wanted it so that she could sleep on the futon in the guest room (the new couch is going in the den where the futon is now) but the guest room is where the guys have been leaving all of their construction stuff. Sounds like the bathroom will be done just in time for the construction stuff to be out of the way, to move the futon upstairs, to put the couch in the den. And all of that is gonna happen right after Cynthia heads home.

Talk to you soon,

B.
