A Thanksgiving Day Tradition

Our family has a Thanksgiving Day tradition. After we spend a few moments being thankful for how truly wonderful our lives are (and they really are) and after we enjoy a delicous meal at Aunt Dorothy and Grandpa's house we start compiling our Christmas Wish Lists. My family likes to start shopping early. And while Rob and I didn't make it home for the delicious meal this year, my mum asked us to get our List going.

Here's what we have so far (I might add some more later):

Becky --
Knitting Stuff (swift, ball winder)
Baking (marble slab, plunger style measuring cup, bundt pan, extra bowl for Kitchen Aid mixer)
Dancing (yoga pants, body suits, sports tops)
House (anything that's still on the Rob McIntosh registry, like china items, silver or glasses)
Frisbee (cleats)
Jewellery
Knitting Books (Knitting without Tears by Elizabeth Zimmermann, either of Stephanie Pearl-McPhee's books, Knit Lit one or three)

Rob --
DVDs (West Wing, Columbo)
Computer Stuff (fancy gaming controller, fancy head phones, office chair)
CDs (new Foo Fighters, new White Stripes)
House (cordless telephone, mini system, the spinning tupperware thingy)
Clothes (pants size 33w32l, running shoes size 9.5 - 10)

Camping stories tomorrow.

Talk to you soon,
B.
